FAKULTI BIOPERUBATAN DAN SAINS KESIHATAN UNISEL MENGADAKAN PENGANUGERAHAN SIJIL DEKAN :PENGIKTIFARAN KEPADA MAHASISWA DAN MAHASISWI




Penganugerahan Sijil Dekan : Pengiktirafan kepada Mahasiswa dan Mahasiswi Fakulti Bioperubatan dan Sains Kesihatan Unisel

Tanggal 7 Feb 2014, detik bersejarah bagi sejumlah 25 orang pelajar UNISEL daripada program Ijazah Sarjana Muda Sains Makmal Perubatan (Kepujian), Diploma Teknologi Makmal Perubatan, Diploma Fisioterapi, Diploma Kesihatan Persekitaran dan Diploma Pengimejan Perubatankerana telah menerima sijil anugerah Dekan.Majlis anjuran Fakulti Bioperubatan dan Sains Kesihatan (FBSK) yang telah berlangsung di Dewan Pro-Canselor, Unisel Kampus Shah Alam seawal jam 9.00 pagi ini adalah sebagai tanda penghargaan pengurusan fakulti kepada mereka yang telah menunjukkan prestasi cemerlang di dalam peperiksaan akhir pada setiap semester. Pengiktirafan anugerah dekan ini adalah berdasarkan minima 12 jumlah jam kredit yang didaftarkan serta lulus peperiksaan pada semester tertentu dengan keputusan Purata Nilai Gred (PNG/GPA) adalah 3.50 dan ke atas sepertimana yang ditetapkan oleh pihak Universiti.
Majlis yang berlangsung secara sederhana ini telah dihadiri oleh jemputan khas, Encik Ahmad Zabri bin Mohd Yaman, Ketua Pegawai Kewangan UNISEL; Prof. Madya Dr. Mohd Nazil Bin Salleh, Dekan Fakulti Bioperubatan & Sains Kesihatan; Encik Hasril Bin Abu Hassan, Ketua Komunikasi Korporat UNISEL serta Encik Mohd Sharikh Dali Bin Mahad, Timbalan Dekan Fakulti Bioperubatan & Sains Kesihatan. Dianggarakan seramai 400 orang jemputan hadir memenuhi majlis termasuk ibubapa pelajar yang diundang khas.Semoga kejayaan mereka ini semua menyuntik semangat baru kepada pelajar-pelajar lain untuk sama-sama mengejar kejayaan sekaligus mengharumkan nama Fakulti.
Prof. Madya Dr. Mohd Nazil, dalam ucapan aluan beliau,mengharapkan semua pelajar selepas ini dapat bekerja keras bukan sahaja berjaya mencapai kejayaan dalam akademik malah juga sahsiah diri dan akhlak yang baik. Dalam pada itu, beliau juga turut melancarkan ‘Hari Pemakaian Baju Korporat’ program pada setiap hari Rabu bertujuan memperkenalkan dan seterusnya mengalakkan siswa/i FBSK untuk menunjukkan etika pemakaian yang professional memandangkan para pelajar diwajibkan untuk memakai pakaian uniform ketika menjalani latihan praktikal. Manakala Encik Ahmad Zabrisewaktu merasmikan majlis turut mengucapkan tahniah kepada semua penerima anugerah sambil mengharapkan agar kakitangan akademik warga fakulti jugasentiasa sedia berkhidmat dengan cemerlang, ikhlas dalam mendidik sekaligus dapat meningkatkan mutu kerja yang lebih meningkat selepas ini dengan peningkatan kejayaan pelajar dengan lebih baik.
Dalam majlis yang sama juga, turut berlangsung acara penyerahan “surface” kepada pelajar HS403- Ijazah Sarjana Muda Sains Makmal Perubatan (kepujian) – secara separuh masa [Kementerian Kesihatan Malaysia-KKM]. Program ini merupakan projek perintis di UNISEL dalam menggunakan kaedah e-learning sebagai medium pengajaran dan pembelajaran dengan pecahan 40% (online) dan 60% (kehadiran kuliah) memandangkan program ini adalah mod separuh masa.Kuliah dijalankan pada hari Jumaat, Sabtu dan Ahad dengan enam (6) kali perjumpaan bagi satu semester (14 minggu).Pihak UNISEL telah melancarkan program e-learning yang dinamakan Moodle eLearning (URL:http://dev.ulms.unisel.edu.my).Oleh yang demikian, penyerahan surface  ini bertujuan agar proses pertemuan bagi sesi kuliah dapat digunakan sepenuhnya.  Penilaian pelajar contohnya kuiz dapat dilakukan secara online.  Moodle eLearning juga memberikan kemudahan lain seperti nota-nota, pelan pengajian, forum dan lain-lain lagi

Beberapa jam yang lalu, telah  berlangsungnya fenomena gerhana bulan merah atau "Blood Moon". Fenomena yang menarik ini terjadi kerana ia berlangsung dalam masa yang sama semasa planet bumi berputar pada posisi yang paling hampir dengan planet Marikh.

Diploma in Hotel Management (KA8220)*
This diploma provides training and skills development for people in supervisory positions in
 the hospitality industry. Graduates are prepared for employment in the industry through 
`Real Would Practice` skills being embedded throughout the program and gain invaluable 
experience from new state-of-the-art facilities like Front Office Operations Lab, 
Accomodation Learning Suite, Hospitality Practice Lab and Multi-Resources Computer Labs.

>Diploma in Restaurant Management (PA0590)*
The two and half years Restaurant Management programme will give you the expertise 
and practical skills you need to pursue a supervisory or management career in the growing 
hotel and restaurant industry both locally and internationally. The programme leading to 
management career in the restaurant and food industry. Giving exposure in the fundamentals
 of foodservice, dining room management, basic restaurant operation and basic culinary skills.

Diploma in Culinary Arts (PA0592)*
This programme is designed for those individuals who wants to grow their career in a culinary
 business. A culinary business is broadly defined to include restaurants, catering operations, 
specialty food stores and similar operations. The programme trains student to become a 
professional chef with career opportunities in major hotels, restaurants, catering and food 
industry. Provides in depth skills in culinary arts, kitchen management, basic pastry and 
bakery making and foodservice management. The skills and knowledge covered in this 
programme are transferable and applicable to many businesses, even outside the culinary field. The programme attracts a wide mix of students. For some, the goal is general management in an 
established restaurant or hospitality operation. For others, the programme is a first step on an entrepreneurial path that will lead to opening a business of their own.

Diploma in Tourism Management (PA0591)*
Our Diploma in Tourism Management is well structured, internationally focused and provides 
a good balance between theory and practical skills related to the tourism industry. This
 programme examines a range of contemporary issues associated with the travel & tourism 
industry such as business tourism, tour operators, travel agencies and transportation for
 tourism. Therefore, students will be prepared for employment in supervisory or managerial 
positions where they will play key roles in planning, developing and promoting tourism. The 
programme is designed to give students a comprehensive, up to date knowledge of operational
 practices, procedures, and management skills essential to meet entry level needs in 
supervisory positions in the industry. The programme integrates classroom learning with
 skills training and a period of internment in a hospitality establishment.

Diploma in Event Management (PA0593)*
The Diploma in Event Management leverages on exceptional learning prospect in the
 collective disciplines of event and management. Students pursuing the programme will be 
in the know-how and hands-on training in both the event and management areas of practices.
 As such, graduates of the programme are expected to be competent to handle the general 
event practices as well as becoming the forefront supervisors and lower level managers that
 are able to advice on routine decision making process of the job scope. The Diploma in Event 
Management demands teaching both the knowledge and skills required for becoming effective
 professional in the event management industry. As an integral part of the programme, you 
will undergo comprehensive proffesional work placement. It has been specially designed to 
give you an intensive hands-on learning experience within a challenging work environment.

KAMPUS KFCHic PUCHONG
Diploma in Business Administration (KA8487)*
The Diploma in Business Administration aims to increase and enrich students` knowledge 
across a broad range of business disciplines. This is a dynamic field of study for students who 
wish to develop skills relating to business operation in areas such as management, accounting, 
finance, marketing and human resource management. A DBA graduate is an all-rounder in 
having gained a comprehensive and holistic perspective of the world of business and will be 
desired in business enterprises as a valued member of a business team or as an entrepreneur

Duration : 2 1/2 years
Entry Requirements : SPM with 3 credit/ O-Levels/ STPM or its equivalent

Diploma in Information Technology (KR7113)*
This technical-oriented programme is designed specially for preparing students to gain the
 intellectual and professional capabilities in information technology. Students will be exposed 
to a broad understanding of ICT and its cross-discipline concepts and fundamentals, plus 
emphasis on subjects related to the ICT specialization area. Graduates of this programmes 
are well prepared for technical positions in ICT related fields as at a rank slightly lower than 
that of holders of a degree in IT.

Entry Requirements : SPM with 3 credit (including Mathematic, Science subject and any
 technical subjects)/ 0-Level/ STPM or its equivalent

>Diploma in Early Childhood Education (KA8332)*
Diploma In Early Childhood Education (DECE) program is specially designed to provide 
students with broad-based knowledge on the basic education and preparation of young children
 for primary school years and to supporting the teacher training and translating child development
 theory and research into best practice in the early childhood. This curriculum provides 
knowledge and skill development in establishing a safe, secure and stimulating environment 
for young children. Students will develop an understanding of children`s physical and mental 
needs, social, cognitive, creative, and emotional development.
